How to check your quiz schedule in the Virtual University LMS
The exact clicks to find every open and upcoming quiz in the Virtual University LMS — and why manual checking eventually fails everyone.
There is no single page in the Virtual University LMS that lists every quiz across all your courses. The schedule lives course by course, which is exactly why deadlines get missed. Here is the manual route, and what it costs you.
The manual route
- Sign in at vulms.vu.edu.pk with your student ID and LMS password.
- Open a course from your dashboard course list.
- Open the quiz section for that course and read the table: start date, end date, marks, and status.
- Note anything marked Open or with a future start date.
- Repeat for every enrolled course — six courses means six passes.
Why this breaks down
The schedule changes without notice: instructors add quizzes mid-semester, and windows are often only two or three days. A weekly manual check has a built-in blind spot bigger than most quiz windows. Daily checking works — until the first busy week, which is precisely when quizzes cluster.
The automatic route
VU Learning does the walk for you: it signs in, reads every course's quiz and assignment tables daily, and emails you what is pending with the closing time. The manual route above is still worth knowing — it is exactly what the agent does, just without you at the keyboard.
